"I loved this hotel! The place was beautiful, great view of the mountains, beautiful landscape. Definitely a great place to relax. The staff was also amazing! I received a few VIP perks: welcome chocolate mousse, access to a nice big jacuzzi and free upgrade to the suite with a huge jet bathtub. They also have a nice infinity pool and the hotel is close enough to town. Plus llamas and alpacas on their property for close up encounters."

"Beautiful!!!! Loved having the baby alpaca in the lobby at night for the guests to pet and take photos with. Service and food were top notch. We didn’t want to leave! Also enjoyed the activities they had planned daily. My husband and I enjoyed painting the ceramic bulls. Pool was beautiful and warm! "

"This was a hidden gem of a resort with a perfect location. Unlike a traditional hotel, this hotel is spread out with beautiful grounds and scenic views in all directions. The architecture and decor is in keeping with the surrounding countryside with clean and well kept rooms. The breakfast was delicious with multiple choices for various dietary preferences. It is literally a 5 minute walk from the train station for quick and easy access to many restaurants and attractions. I highly recommend...

"Fantastic guest house with comfortable bed and clean rooms. The only problem we had was with hotels.com. the room we booked was unavailable and hotels.com would not refund and in the past I was able to get a human on the phone but I was unable and the reservation was unable to be cancelled. This is what happens when bots take over. Hotels.com be advised you messed up big time."

"Property was a bit out the way but the grounds were beautiful. Landacape and flowers were so pretty with the mountains in the background. 3 Alpacas/Llamas on site... wish they were more friendly but still made for great pictures. Wish there was more on site to do. We did walk out and up to the left found a Butterfly museum. It was nice to learn about Mariposas. Room was big with high celings. Wich made for a very cold night. Room did have a space heater, but needed 2 to fill the space. ...

"Fantastic stay at Refugio Andino! So great that I actually returned to stay a second time for multiple nights. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Having breakfast included was a bonus and the service each morning was always so friendly and so nice to be greeted with a warm smile. The rooms are big and bright, wifi strong, and hot water in the showers is fantastic. Highly recommend!"
